I went to work for the woman who planned our big day. I worked with her for a few years before I started having children. Now I am a stay at home and just plan parties for fun. I have been "hired" a few times which has been fun and take me back to the 'ole days. =) If planning parties is your passion, you can definitely pursue it for extra income. Another idea is to find a niche on Etsy. Are you familiar with the website? For instance, if you are crafty, you could sell paper goods, etc on their site. Hope this helps!
