Josie decided one week before Halloween that she didn't want to be Belle again. She wanted to be Kermit. So the great Mommy that I am, I was on the hunt for a Kermit costume. This was the only one I could find but she loved it. It was pretty darn cute, even though I will be cleaning glitter for months from the thing!

Apple Works Pumpkin Patch Trafalagar, Indiana
Finally found the time to get Josie to the pumpkin patch. I waited around for Michelle so the kids could go together like they've done for the past I don't know how many years. But once again, they are too busy! So we just went by ourselves.
I called Mom and she went with us. We even got Daddy to go this year. I don't think we'll be able to talk him into doing that one again though. But we always have each other! LOL

Wonderlab
Marlin PTO also paid to send the kids to Wonderlab. So once again, I chaperoned. I don't think I'll do that one again though! It was crazy hectic. They just need to lock the doors and keep the kids in.
I had a total of three kids to keep watch of, one of them being mine and there was no way! One of the girls never wanted to do what the other two did so I needed eyes in the back of my head. I'm telling ya, lock the doors and we'd be great!
But the kids had fun and that was all that mattered!

Cat in the Hat~ John Waldron Art Center
The PTO paid for all the students to go see Cat in the Hat at the John Waldron Arts Center.
I got to chaperon again. This was an amazing play. Full of life and color. I think I might have liked this one better than I did Charlotte's Web when we went to see it. Of course I love Dr. Seuss so that might have had something to do with it.
During one part in the play, the Cat, came and sat in the seat next to us. Josie wasn't quite sure what to think of that. She just stared at him the whole time.
He was trying to get her to eat imaginary popcorn out of the hat and after a little coaxing from me, she finally did it. It was so awesome to get to sit right next to the main character. You wouldn't experience that in a "big" show environment.

Peden Farm
Josie's school went to Peden Farm. I took off and went as a chaperone.
That was the most awesome experience! They had all kinds of things for the kids and they had a lot of fun.
I hadn't been there since I was in school and in 4-H. I was in 4-H with the Peden kids and got to see them both while we were there.
The Peden's are such a great family and this is an incredible way to give the experience to our youth.
