Catchup on our Disney Cruise- Final Episode

So on the last day, we had to be off the boat by a certain time. We chose to skip breakfast, so we could just hang for as long as possible. This was the absolute best vacation I think we have ever taken. So much so that I highly recommend it and am ready to book my next one. After taking this cruise, I don't think, we'll do the Disneyworld thing until Josie is older. She had so much fun on this cruise being able to do as she wished. Not having to rush to see everything, yet able to see as many characters as she wanted.

I do have some things I want to remember for next time. One I would go straight to the store and get an autograph book, second, anytime the princesses are out, I would drop whatever we were doing and go to them straight away. They by far had the longest line waiting on them. I would skip all of the restaurants except Animator's Palace, just to be able to see more of the ship. The food that is available to you all day is just as good as the restaurants and now that we've seen them all it wouldn't bother me to skip them. I would go to all of the shows, they were wonderful! Plus the only time I can get Mike to something like that without him complaining. I would spend all day at the pool, being in the sun as much as we could and do everything else at night or early early morning. Try to get a closer seat to the Pirate night show and the Sailaway party. Take Josie to the kids floor so she can see it. And not book our home flight so late in the day. We were worried about rushing Josie, but being there as long as we were, was awful!!!

Here's some random photos from our hangout at the airport, literally all day long!

Of course Josie did perfectly fine hanging out there but the only way to really occupy her time was shop. Course then we had to carry all of that on the plane cause our bags were already in the baggage. So I would either stay the night again, somewhere, and catch a flight earlier in the day, or I would have them book me a closer to flight to when we get off the boat.

Before we left the airport, we let Josie put her pj's on. We knew she would fall asleep and sure enough, we had to keep waking her up cause she had gum in her mouth while we were taxing down the run way. Poor little girl was pooped! But as soon as we landed and saw Papa & Mama, she was wide awake and mouth running the entire way home.

I am so ready to go back. I dont' want to go back to reality, it was nice being able to spend time together with nothing that we "had" to do! I hope we can take vacations like this every year.

Here are just some random Instagram photos from the time we left, til we got home. Notice the photo with Josie sitting on her art table at home. She is calling everyone and telling them bye. She's actually talking to Aunt Emily in this photo.

Catchup on our Disney Cruise Part 4

Today was our day at sea. It was so relaxing! We loved it. Josie was happy as long as she was in water, Mommy was happy as long as I was in the sun.

We started our day out in the Mickey Mouse pool. Had pretty much the whole thing to ourselves for quite a while.

Once we got hungry, we just wrapped a towel around us and headed for some breakfast. They had the Mickey waffles. They were really good!

After breakfast, we headed to get Josie's photo with Tinkerbell. She was impressed that Josie had already been in the pool and had already had breakfast.

And back to the pool/water we went!!!

Josie slid on her Mickey slide for hours!

We had to take a few rides on the Aquaduck. That was the coolest thing ever and she loved it. Daddy & I would take turns riding with her.

These smokestacks on the side of the ship didn't play the normal "honking" sound when the horn would blow. They played music, such as, It's a small world. Pretty cool!

Disney thinks of everything! Not only can you eat food all day long, such as pizza, cheeseburgers, french fries. All those famous kids cuisine. But they also had their own ice cream machines. They had a special flavor everyday too. The best was the strawberry/banana twist.

And of course you can't forget the shopping! Josie loved that cause she had all that money she got from her birthday party to do what she wanted. It was great, cause for the most part, we didn't have to tell her NO on something she wanted. Cause she had her own money to pay for it. She's cheesing in this photo outside of the Disney Movie Theatre.

We went back out. Mom went up to the bar to smoke and get a drink. I had asked the bartender for some cherries for Josie cause she was wanting mine out of my drink and I didn't want her eating them since they had been in alcohol. From that point on, he asked me if Josie needed cherries, so every time I went up there she got a cup of cherries.

While Daddy & I were lounging Josie decided she wanted to pose for the camera. There are a lot more pictures than this but I picked out the funniest to share.

After having the bartender running around trying to find Mike some Jagermeister and Red Bull, he remembered me every time I went up there or if I saw him anywhere else on the boat. And he would call me by name. I thought it was comical so I had him come take a photo with us and then he took a photo of Mike, Josie and I.

We then went to the movie, Timothy Green. I have never been in a movie theatre that you could take your drink into so I thought that was pretty neat.

That was not a good movie for me to go to. It hit way to close to home. I was bawling by the time I got out of there with Josie asking what was wrong with me.

After the movie was Pirate night. They first put on a show and then later in the night was fireworks. Everyone dressed up in pirate gear. They even left bandanas in the room if you wanted to wear those, so that is what we did. Josie bought a hat though. And then had to put on her Belle dress for the fireworks.

When we got back to the room for Josie to put her Belle dress on, the house keeper had put Princess sheets on her bed and her bath toys she bought that day. She was disappointed that she didn't have her bunk bed but the sheets made up for it.

And our towel that night was in the shape of a Pirate.

I had to take a photo of my bar/smoke area.

Catchup on our Disney Cruise Part 3

We woke up in Nassau, Bahamas.

Had our breakfast. And then hung out on the boat, until time to go on our excursion to Atlantis.

The princess' came out for some photographs, the line was awful and we had to get to our excursion. So we told Josie we would get them all later. Little did we know, we would never make it to the majority of them. Live and learn, we know for next time. Princess' come before everything else!

We did have time to get photos with Princess Minnie and Princess Daisy. Josie wouldn't stand with them by herself, so Daddy & Mommy took turns.

While standing in line, look what I noticed as the band board around the staircase.

Josie and I go to one of the public bathrooms to get ready for our excursion. I open the door and turn around and say "Oh My God, Look At This". Mike thought I was crazy, but look!!!

Walking to the meeting place for the excursion, we found out why the safety boats were wet during our emergency drill. I guess they exercise them and the workers at the ports. Here they are lowering one in the water.

Now here we are waiting on our excursion to begin. We chose to go to the Atlantis Aquarium and an Atlantis Tour. Check out the overhead lights in this room. Shape of Mickey, once again!

Little Missy, thinking she is funny and rolling her eyes at Mom.

My gorgeous girl, setting foot on Nassau Bahamas!

The drive to Atlantis was very adventurous. You would not believe the roads, these taxi people and the residents have to drive on. One road we were on, you could literally stick your finger out the window and touch a parked car, next to the taxi.

Atlantis Aquarium

We had to walk through the casino of Atlantis to get to another part of our tour. I told Josie, she's the first kid in the family to be in a casino and made her let me take her photo. Children were allowed in there, they just weren't allowed to touch any machines.

She took us through a whole tour of the Atlantis, describing everything the Atlantis people were believed to have done. I guess I should have read about them, cause I had and still have no clue what she was talking about. Josie was completely wore out and lost interest once we left the aquarium. It was a lot of walking and she went really fast. If we were to go back, I think I would have been just as happy staying on the boat.

Once the tour was over, we went to find Mommy some cigarettes, didn't know I could smoke on the boat, and I didn't have anything. I got some at a humidor there in the hotel. It was pretty cool, Daddy didn't think of it while he was there that he should have gotten a cuban cigar. Oh well! You know for next time too!

This is a view of Atlantis from our boat, and Daddy & Josie loading the boat and going through customs.

When we got back on the boat, Tinkerbell was taking photos. So we told Josie to hurry up and pee and we would go get her photo taken with Tinkerbell. She got so excited, she forgot about the step up into the bathroom, tripped and busted her mouth on the toilet. Blood and tears, everywhere! She was screaming!!! Don't need to tell you, we didn't make it to Tinkerbell that night.

But once she calmed down, she wanted to hang out in the window. She loved the window in our room and it was pretty cool that you could fit up in it.

We ate at the Animator's Palace this evening. This is my absolute favorite of all the restaurants. The decor was awesome, the Crush on the movie screen, was awesome, the food was awesome! All in all, it was AWESOME!!!

All Josie ate that night was fruit and some ice cream. She was afraid to eat cause of her mouth.

The absolute gorgeous sunset. The photo doesn't do it justice.

After dinner, while we were walking back, Princess Tiana was there for photos. She gets her first photo with a princess. We didn't have to walk up the "people" with her. She did it all by herself.

We get back to our room, and tonight was an elephant. He found Mike's sunglasses he had left in the room and the elephant was wearing them. Josie thought that was hilarious, but all she cared about was whether or not her bunk bed was down.

Even though we had the catastrophe of the tooth and mouth. We had a really good day! This is the best vacation ever!!!
