This Cute Adorable Kid of Mine

Josie has gotten in an awesome habit for this photographer loving Momma. She loves to pose for me anytime the camera is out. On this particular night, November 6th, she decided she needed to pose with her new Build A Bear, Peppermint Puppy and a tube of chapstick.

Halloween Party at Sherwood Oaks Preschool

Josie had her first halloween party. Mommy went to help, I took photos of each kid in their costume.
The day started out in their classroom doing projects. Then they had a parade around the building, coming into the gym to show off their outfits for the parents.
They then went back to have class for about an hour and then it was party time. They had different booths set up and Mom's at each table to help the kids. It was a good time.













Miss Jane, one of the class helpers has quit due to personal reasons, but she came in to see the kids one last time. All the girls took turns hugging Miss Jane and then each other. It was so sweet!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! Better late than never! :-)

Josie bought the dress on the cruise and has been all about Belle! She even let Mommy curl her hair and then of course she had to have some makeup on too.
The first stop was Granny Glodyne's and that was the only time that I thought about getting the camera out. Course Granny's is really set up for that "look" with her porch and the fact that she comes to that door to answer company.

Busy Busy Busy

I was super busy at work today, November 27th. Josie was at work with me and had to occupy herself. She did a really good job and the only mess she made was with paint. But she made the mess on the mat and paper, so all was good. I don't know if she has any paint left though, cause her paper had piles of paint on it.



And Sprite was hungry last night, she got in Josie's candy jar and made herself at home.

Catchup on our Disney Cruise- Final Episode

So on the last day, we had to be off the boat by a certain time. We chose to skip breakfast, so we could just hang for as long as possible. This was the absolute best vacation I think we have ever taken. So much so that I highly recommend it and am ready to book my next one. After taking this cruise, I don't think, we'll do the Disneyworld thing until Josie is older. She had so much fun on this cruise being able to do as she wished. Not having to rush to see everything, yet able to see as many characters as she wanted.

I do have some things I want to remember for next time. One I would go straight to the store and get an autograph book, second, anytime the princesses are out, I would drop whatever we were doing and go to them straight away. They by far had the longest line waiting on them. I would skip all of the restaurants except Animator's Palace, just to be able to see more of the ship. The food that is available to you all day is just as good as the restaurants and now that we've seen them all it wouldn't bother me to skip them. I would go to all of the shows, they were wonderful! Plus the only time I can get Mike to something like that without him complaining. I would spend all day at the pool, being in the sun as much as we could and do everything else at night or early early morning. Try to get a closer seat to the Pirate night show and the Sailaway party. Take Josie to the kids floor so she can see it. And not book our home flight so late in the day. We were worried about rushing Josie, but being there as long as we were, was awful!!!

Of course Josie did perfectly fine hanging out there but the only way to really occupy her time was shop. Course then we had to carry all of that on the plane cause our bags were already in the baggage. So I would either stay the night again, somewhere, and catch a flight earlier in the day, or I would have them book me a closer to flight to when we get off the boat.

Before we left the airport, we let Josie put her pj's on. We knew she would fall asleep and sure enough, we had to keep waking her up cause she had gum in her mouth while we were taxing down the run way. Poor little girl was pooped! But as soon as we landed and saw Papa & Mama, she was wide awake and mouth running the entire way home.



I am so ready to go back. I dont' want to go back to reality, it was nice being able to spend time together with nothing that we "had" to do! I hope we can take vacations like this every year.

Catchup on our Disney Cruise Part 5

Today is our last day on the ship. Bummer! This was the best vacation ever and very well worth the money. Cheap actually when you consider.

Today is Castaway Cay, Disney's privately owned island. Josie's first experience with the ocean.

We start the day off of course eating breakfast and staring at the gorgeous water. Oh what it would be like to live somewhere like here! I'm sure you would grow accustom to the view and it wouldn't really mean anything after a while, but us "Indiana's" can just imagine!





When we got off the boat, Donald Duck was there taking photos. He was hilarious! He was flirting with some guys wife and try taking off with her. When it was our turn, he was leaning all up against Josie. I don't think she knew what to think, but she took it all in stride and talked about how silly he was the rest of the day.



When we got off the ship, we walked all the way up to the beach, just to see what all was around there. There was actually quite a bit to see just in the path up to the beach area.



There was even a cat. Course all the people around us, were calling a Ferrell kitten, but to me it's just a cat. Basking in the sun, and let Josie & I pet it.



And even a stray dog! LOL



And then of course there was some shopping. We stopped to browse on the way to the beach.



We made it to the beach, picked us out some chairs and Josie and I took off to get in. Even the lounge chairs had the cruise icon on it.



Daddy & Josie had fun playing with sea shells and making a "castle" and decorating it.



Mike thought I was crazy when I took this photo, but I love it!



Josie and I were digging around in the sand in the water finding sea shells, cause we were going to go to the "kid" area of the beach. She ended up getting stung by what we think is a jelly fish. She told me a sea shell scratched her, then said she got bit, cause we had seen a baby crab shortly before that. Just whiney, not crying. We were wrapping towels around us and I noticed on her arm, she had red splotches. So I wrapped her up in  a towel to go find first aid. That's when she started crying. The guy at the first aid was great, he knew exactly what to do and said it was a jelly fish. We couldn't really understand him very well but we did understand that part. So after that little escapade, she was done with the ocean and ready to go back to the boat. We went to the store and did a little shopping and headed back to the boat.

We got her in the pool and she was worried that something was going to sting her again. We had to explain several times that it was not the ocean water and there wouldn't be anything in to sting her. She had a great time playing in the pool and on the slide once again. I think next time, we might forget the ocean and just stay in the pool.



Just a quick shot of my smoking chairs! They actually were pretty comfortable.



We swam until dinner time and then we ate at the Enchanted Garden. Belle joined us, aka Josie.



They cut Josie's food up every night for her.



After dinner we went back to our room to see what tonight's towel was and Josie to eat some of her chocolates that he left us.



Tonight we went to another play, this one was Tinkerbell based and it was an absolutely awesome show! Josie enjoyed all of it. I now know we can take her to a musical and she will enjoy it.

After the show, we told Josie that we would let her go out to the pool and swim as late as she wanted to, and that Daddy would take her on the Aquaduck in the dark. Well the Aquaduck, they got to do one time, before they shut it down, because of the wind. I got in the pool with them and couldn't handle it. It was way too cold for me and they had the hot tub shut down too. So Daddy was a good sport and swam with her, while Mommy stayed out wrapped in towels.



This silly girl was freezing to death but just had to get in the shower that was on the deck.
