Well after a very frustrating week, we finally found out that Josie gets to go to school tomorrow. She should have started on Wednesday but because she was an early enrollment, they supposedly had to wait for the count to come in before she would be allowed to go. This was all fine and dandy other than the fact that I knew their count was low. I knew they had a full Kindergarten class and a K/1st grade split class. Plenty of room! The other thing is she is only two days off the cut off date. The cut off is August 1st and her birthday is on the 3rd. Very aggravating to say the least!!!!
But anyway, we finally got a call on Thursday afternoon that she could come to school on Friday. She was super excited when I got home from work to get all her stuff packed and ready to go. I just hope the excitement stays throughout her school years.
